Installation Notes
System supports dual and triple channel modes. This requires set combinations of module size and physical arrangement. Quad-rank modules run at 1066MHz and automatically clock down to 800MHz when two or more are installed in the same bank. This is a limitation of the chipset, not the memory itself. The memory will also clock down to 1066 or 800MHz depending on which Intel Xeon processor is installed. Refer to system manual for details. |
